Introduction of  welded steel pipe


The raw material of welded steel pipe is steel plate or band steel, we divided the steel products into furnace welded pipe, electric resistance welding pipe(ERW steel pipe) and auto arc welding pipe due the different technology. Due to the different welding type, we have divided straight seam welded pipe and spiral welded pipe two types. According to the different end shape, we divided into round welded tube and (square or flat) figured tube.
Due to the material and different application, we have divided the welded tube into below several types:
GB/T3091-2008(General welded steel pipe used for low pressure fluid conveying). Mainly used to transport water, gas, oxygen, oil, heating hot water or steam and some generally low pressure fluid or use for other purpose. The representative material is Q235A class.
GB/T14291-2006(Welding pipe for mineral fluids). Mainly used to press the wind in the mine, drainage, also include the straight seam welded pipe for release the gas. The representative material is Q235A、B class.
GB/T12770-2002(Mechanical structure welded stainless steel pipe). Mainly used to machinery, automobile, bicycle, furniture， hotel and restaurant decoration and other Mechanical parts and structural parts. The representative material is 0Cr13、1Cr17、00Cr19Ni11、1Cr18Ni9、0Cr18Ni11Nb and etc.
GB/T12771-1991(Welded stainless steel pipe used to fluid transportation). Mainly used to conveying the low pressure but corrosive medium. The representative material is 0Cr13、0Cr19Ni9、00Cr19Ni11、00Cr17、0Cr18Ni11Nb、0017Cr17Ni14Mo2 and etc.
Besides, we also have the welded stainless steel tube for decoration (GB/T 18705-2002), welded stainless steel tube for architectural decoration (JG/T 3030-1995) and welded tube for heat ex-changer (YB4103-2000).

ERW steel pipe for Cross hole testing in Uruguay

The specified standards and materials were ASTM A53 GR.B, with a diameter of 2”, wall thickness SCH40, and a length of 6 meters. The total order was for approximately 130 tons of one specification, with the pipe ends to be threaded and accompanied by couplings and caps for use in well pressure testing at the project site. Due to the approaching end of the year, the client requested that all materials be shipped within 30 days to avoid delays due to the Chinese New Year holiday.
