The Standard of Boiler Tube


Most of boiler tube is SMLS and some are welded, carbon steel pipe and alloy steel pipes and stainless steel pipes can used as boiler tube. Today, we’ll have a brief introduction about standard of boiler tube. 
Most Common Standard: DIN 17456, DIN 17458, GOST 9940; GOST 9941, JIS G3459, JIS G3463, ASTM A213, ASTM A312, ASTM A269, ASTM A778, ASTM A790, EN 10216-5; 
ASTM A178: for electric-resistance-welded carbon steel and carbon-manganese steel boiler and superheater tubes. 
ASTM A192 for seamless carbon steel boiler tubes for high-pressure service. 
ASTM A210 for seamless medium-carbon steel boiler and superheater tubes. 
ASTM A213 for smooth ferritic and austenitic alloy-steel boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger tubes. 
JIS G3461 smooth carbon steel pipeline for boiler and heat exchanger. 
Steel Grade: TP304/304L, TP304H, TP304/304L, TP316/316L, TP310, TP317/317L, TP321/321H, TP347/347H, S31803, S32205( Duplex), 904L and other product.

ERW steel pipe for Cross hole testing in Uruguay

 Project location：Uruguay Product： ERW steel pipe thread on both ends with coupling & caps Standard and material：ASTM A53 GR.B Specifications：2”X SCH40 X 6M Usage：Cross hole testing In early November 2024, Tianjin Xinyue received an inquiry from a South American client in Uruguay for high-frequency longitudinal welded pipes. The specified standards and materials were ASTM A53 GR.B, with a diameter of 2”, wall thickness SCH40, and a length of 6 meters. The total order was for approximately 130 tons of one specification, with the pipe ends to be threaded and accompanied by couplings and caps for use in well pressure testing at the project site. Due to the approaching end of the year, the client requested that all materials be shipped within 30 days to avoid delays due to the Chinese New Year holiday.
