A Guide to Large Diameter Steel Pipe

Large diameter steel pipe can be made from welded steel pipe and seamless steel pipe. And carbon steel pipe, stainless steel pipe and alloy steel pipe can all use to forming large diameter steel pipe.
For welded steel pipes, most common seen standard and specification are as below:
ASTM A36, ASTM A283, ASTM A572, ASTM A570, ASTM A607, ASTM A907, ASTM A935, ASTM A53, ASTM A588, ASTM A252, ASTM A572, API 5L.
For SSAW steel pipe, most common seen standards:
AWWA C200, AWWA C203, AWWA C205, AWWA C208, AWWA C210, AWWA C213.
For seamless steel pipe, large diameter steel pipe’s most common seen standards and specifications are:
API 5L, API 5CT, API 5DP, API 5D, API 7, ASME standard, DIN standard, JIS standard, EN standard, etc.
