A guide to Seamless Line Pipe

Seamless Line Pipe is widely used for oil, natural gas, water and fluid transmission purpose.
Size range of Seamless Line Pipe:
OD: DN6 to DN900(1/8” to 36”, 10.3mm to 914.4mm)
Most common seen standards and steel grades are as below:
Standard: API 5L PSL1
Steel Grade: B, X42, X46, X52, X56, X60, X65, X70, X80, X90, X100.
Standard:API 5L PSL2
Steel Grade: BN, X42N, X46N, X52N, X56N, X60N, X65Q, X70Q, X80Q, X90Q, X100Q.
Tips: Please kindly note that for PSL1 steel pipes, tolerance is plus and minus certain percentage. But for PSL2 steel pipe, tolerance is only plus certain percentage.
For API 5L PSL2(Annex H), steel grades includes BNS, BQS, X42NS, X42QS, X46NS, X46QS, X52QS, X56QS, X60QS, X65QS, X70QS. For API 5L PSL2(Annex H) is widely used for sour service.
For API 5L PSL2(Annex J), steel grades includes BNO, BQO, X42NO, X42QO, X46NO, X46QO, X52QO, X56QO, X60QO, X65QO, X70QO, X80QO, X90QO, X100QO. For API 5L PSL2(Annex H) is widely used for offshore service.
For all seamless line pipe, it all can be provided according to different stamdard requirement.

ERW steel pipe for Cross hole testing in Uruguay

The specified standards and materials were ASTM A53 GR.B, with a diameter of 2”, wall thickness SCH40, and a length of 6 meters. The total order was for approximately 130 tons of one specification, with the pipe ends to be threaded and accompanied by couplings and caps for use in well pressure testing at the project site.
