Small OD SMLS Steel Pipe

Small OD SMLS steel pipe is widely used for both side submerged arc welded manufacturing technology. Small OD SMLS steel pipe’s manufacturing process can be bending, internal welding, commissural, external welding, straightening, flat top multi-channel, etc, to achieve API standards.

Large OD with thick wall can be used in all kinds of construction site and make the body supporting portion. For example bridge support, offshore piling, and other building pile.Also, it can also used for liquid transportation.

Small OD SMLS steel pipe refer to the ratio of small diameter and wall thickness of the pipe. Tianjin Xinyue Steel Group’s production range is OD from 6mm to 914.4mm, WT from 0.5mm to 40mm. This production range includes both carbon steel and stainless steel.

SMLS steel pipe is mainly used for petrochemical cracking tube, boiler tube, pipe and automotive bearings, petroleum geology drilling pipe, tractors,  aviation and other precision structural tube.

ERW steel pipe for Cross hole testing in Uruguay

The specified standards and materials were ASTM A53 GR.B, with a diameter of 2”, wall thickness SCH40, and a length of 6 meters. The total order was for approximately 130 tons of one specification, with the pipe ends to be threaded and accompanied by couplings and caps for use in well pressure testing at the project site. Due to the approaching end of the year, the client requested that all materials be shipped within 30 days to avoid delays due to the Chinese New Year holiday.
