Successful delivery of the second phase of the #Greek #MOTRO #OIL #project

In early October 2018, based on the successful supply experience of the first batch of 800 tons #X70 thick-walled #straight #seam #welded #pipes, #Xinyue received another inquiry from Greek customers for 700 tons of large #steel #pipes with 1800 mm outer diameter of the same material. The project is also the second phase of the #construction of the oil platform of Greece's second largest oil company.

The specified standards and materials were ASTM A53 GR.B, with a diameter of 2”, wall thickness SCH40, and a length of 6 meters. The total order was for approximately 130 tons of one specification, with the pipe ends to be threaded and accompanied by couplings and caps for use in well pressure testing at the project site. Due to the approaching end of the year, the client requested that all materials be shipped within 30 days to avoid delays due to the Chinese New Year holiday.
