At the end of February 2019, #Xinyue received an inquiry from customer about water pipe projects. They needed #seamless #steel #pipe with internal and external coating. After a series of technical confirmation, the customer gave us the order at the beginning of March. This customer has strict quality requirements, so he entrusted BV third-party inspection organization to supervise the whole process of steel pipe production and coating production.

The specified standards and materials were ASTM A53 GR.B, with a diameter of 2”, wall thickness SCH40, and a length of 6 meters. The total order was for approximately 130 tons of one specification, with the pipe ends to be threaded and accompanied by couplings and caps for use in well pressure testing at the project site. Due to the approaching end of the year, the client requested that all materials be shipped within 30 days to avoid delays due to the Chinese New Year holiday.
